The Reunion

Extraordinary events, by the people who were there

Reuniting a group of people intimately involved in a moment of modern history.

The Reunion is an original idea from Whistledown MD David Prest, and has been on air since 2003. Spanning over 200 episodes, it has explored the lives of people united by a singular event - historical, cultural, and political. The subjects have ranged from everything from The Boxing Day Tsunami to the Good Friday Agreement, to Dolly the Sheep and Doctor Who.

The programme was presented by Sue MacGregor until 2019. It is currently presented by Kirsty Wark.

The Reunion has won several awars, including a gold award at the 2007 Sony Radio Academy Awards and was voted radio program of the year at the 2016 Broadcasting Press Guild Awards. In a 2019 Radio Times poll, it was also voted the 27th greatest radio program of all time.
